Bellanota Duo - Kasia Saturna and Valentina Benvenuti

Bellanota is a captivating musical duo, where the masterful cello of Kasia Saturna and the accomplished classical guitar of Valentina blend in a unique harmony. Their performances resonate with a passion and precision that can only come from their rich and diverse backgrounds in classical music.

Kasia Saturna hails from Szczecin, Poland, where her journey with the cello began at the age of eight. After honing her craft at a music school in Szczecin, she pursued her Master of Music at the Gdansk Academy of Music. Her dedication to the cello led her to Weimar, Germany, for masterclasses and eventually back to her hometown as the principal cellist of the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, a position she held for 15 years. Alongside her performance career, Kasia has always been a dedicated teacher, nurturing the talents of her students and instilling in them the joy of music.

Valentina Benvenuti began her musical journey in Pesaro, Italy, under the guidance of Maestros Ferrante Faedi and Pietro Antinori at the prestigious Rossini Conservatory. In 2016, she graduated with a Master's Degree in Classical Guitar Performance. Now based in Edmonton, Canada, Valentina is deeply involved in the local music community as the vice president of the Edmonton Classical Guitar Society. Her performances span solo engagements, chamber music, and collaborations with Kasia in Bellanota. Valentina's versatility as a musician is evident in her ability to play the Baroque guitar with the ensemble Nueva Convivencia. She also conducts the ECGS Adult Guitar Orchestra and the WMA Pedagogical Guitar Orchestra with Renee Perez, and she is a passionate music instructor.
